A virtuous cycle is one where one change or interaction creates more positive impact. In organizations this is about having one slice of change create more and more positive results for the entire organization. Key to this is creating high performing work teams and solid relationships. It is what helps teams work as a sum greater than their individual parts, operationalizing ideas with regards to the entire system, and translating a vision into tangible results. Throughout my career, I’ve often been the first in a role or charged with redefining a role, which has given me the ability to design systems and structures, see opportunities, and cultivate relationships. In all of my work, I look to make the pie bigger for all involved and for a solutions where stakeholders benefit.

Luminary Program Framework: Curriculum and Partnerships

Luminary is a membership-based, collaborative hub and workspace in NYC with a focus on professional women. My role as the Chief Impact Officer is to curate experiences that encourage learning, growth, and community for individual and corporate members. I’ve created a programmatic framework for both content and delivery that guides our programs-everything from workshops, curated dinners, pitch competitions, and partnership programs. With partners I look to find a way where all the stakeholders benefit-Luminary, our members, and our partners.

NYU Wagner Office of Career Services: Employer Development and Staff Retention

As the Director of the office I saw a need for a structured employer engagement plan involving outreach and partnership with government, nonprofit, and private sector employers. Within two years of implementation we had doubled our employer engagement. In the office over all, I created and designed internal systems and processes that allowed the team’s time to be spent using their greatest talents and create innovative programs, increasing satisfaction with the office and staff retention.

NYU Management Fellows: Enterprise Level Research, Benchmarking, and Recommendations

I was selected as a member of the inaugural NYU Management Fellows cohort in 2017. For seven months I worked collaboratively with a cross-disciplinary group of university colleagues to research, evaluate, and propose a consistent university onboarding process for new hires at one of NYC’s largest employers. Through the process we assessed the current state, benchmarked best practices within higher education and corporate settings, and proposed a future state for the university.
